Full prosthetic care, from the first conversation through fitting, alignment, and the visits that come after you have worn the limb at home.
Amputations follow many paths: poor circulation, trauma, cancer, and other causes. Some involve the arm or hand. Most involve the leg or foot. A prosthesis is fit so daily life can resume — walking, working, driving, caring for the people who depend on you.
Master’s offers prosthetic care from the initial consult to the final fit and beyond. The prosthetists will talk through your particular limb, your goals, and the device that belongs on the prescription. Bring questions. The fitting is a conversation, not a single appointment.
What to expect
- A prescription from an MD, DPM, PA, or DO.
- Time to talk about the limb, the socket, and how you actually move.
- Fabrication or supply, then alignment on your body.
- Follow-up when the first week of wear teaches both of you something.
